History

Wrenn Home Improvements was started by Jeremy Wrenn in 2006 as a sole proprietor. Our first employee was hired in 2007, and we’ve expanded since then to the four employees we currently have.

We focus on wood rot and real estate punchlists as our main area of work, but also do other work and smaller jobs. Our emphasis is on quality work at an affordable price, and we teach each of our employees to do work the right way.

Meet the owner: Jeremy Wrenn

Jeremy Wrenn is a native of Wake Forest, and after a short time away has lived in and around Wake Forest since 1982. He graduated from Bunn High School in 1991, and earned his Eagle Scout award from Troop 500 in Wake Forest that same year. He attended Northland College, in Ashland, WI, and graduated Cum Laude in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Earth Science and Natural History.

Jeremy came back home and worked as the Program Director for the Boy Scouts of America Occoneechee Council’s Camp Durant the summer of 1996, and then worked part time at a couple of retail jobs. Batteries Plus of Raleigh was his first full time occupation in 1997, in which he worked 3 years and became the Purchasing Director for the local franchise stores.

Jeremy then worked for 6 years for Suitt Construction (later renamed BE&K Building Group) as a Purchasing Agent in Raleigh. From there he started Wrenn Home Improvements in April of 2006, and has continued building and expanding his company since.
